about the fabric recommendations:
Fabric requirements depend on which option of the quilt you’re planning on making.
Click here to download the PDF with the fabric requirements and see which fabrics I used for all of the options.
Here are some of the fabrics I used (and will be using) to make my Shoreline Shells quilts — all of the details and specifications are listed in the PDF link above:
• Ruby Star Society Speckled
• Moda Grunge
• Art Gallery Fabrics PURE Solids + Elements
This is also a great quilt to get scrappy on and use fabric you have in your stash!

Wonderful pattern, beautiful quilt! Shoreline Shells is a well designed quilt pattern with comprehensive, easy to understand instructions. The videos make it a complete learning experience. When I had a couple of minor questions, Sheri responded quickly to resolve them. I started this progect as a paper piecing novice and was able to make these beautiful shell blocks with increasing confidence and skill. Thanks!

I am very pleased with the Shoreline Shells patterns. They are very well written and go together easily. I appreciate that your patterns are so detailed. I normally will skim through instructions and run into problems. I am making an effort to slow down and be more present in my sewing. Your patterns make it so easy to follow along. As a result, I think I have improved my FPP skills. I love your design esthetic. Thank you for such a wonderful BOM.
